“Financial Independence” or “early retirement” is little different than being a homeless bum with a higher standard of living. This goal-line is wherever you want to set it to be (depending on how low you’re willing to lower your standard of living), and these days we’re seeing everyone from 20-year old influencers to even my dog declaring that they’ve achieved “financial independence.” Well, I’m here to stop all this nonsense and tell everyone to go back and get a job.

  1. I think working is good, as long as you work from home. And dont need to travel to work. Taking time off, vacationing, and enjoying your life is equally good. I guess people just need to find the right balance.

  2. With the right financial plan, early retirement is possible. Most investors hope for the best from their investments, but base their financial goals on unrealistic assumptions.

  3. In most of Asia country your parent expect you take care of them when they are old, if you just go some where far and cheap and live freely they would go crazy.

  4. Are you for real l? Children are “financially independent?” What happens if Mommy and Daddy ain’t there?

Homeless people are “financially independent?” What happens if the food pantry or shelters close down?

  5. Financial independence is awesome if your passive income is big. 10M cash 5% interest, 500k yearly passive income. Reinvest half every year and have 250k a year to spend. Then the next year you will get 512.5k passive reinvest half that and you’ll have the other $256,250 to spend. Next year it compounds again and you’ll get $525,312 passive and have around 262k to spend. That’s effectively a 3% and rising raise every single year for the rest of your life with no work. The way to fix financial independence downside is to have a bigger investment cash pile

  6. Sarcasm aside, I think the idea is being able to cover your bills comfortably, save a lot of money, invest wisely, make money while you sleep – and do all this while you're at the beach.

  7. Funny how you turn things upside down.In reality what you call Independant really is dependant.kids are dependant and your dog too.Don t you know the german saying that goes Arbeit macht frei ?? work sets you free :):):)

  8. Here's what I do to justify every dollar I spend. I pay cash if after I'm done consuming. If I miss my cash I Know I won't be repeating that purchase. I'd pay 250,000 thousand for watch. And polish it look at it lovingly everyday I would even miss dollar.

  9. Homeless is to much work and shark mentality. It's like camping trip but at end you just need to burn your clothes take hot shower your golden. I have PhD in bumming it all my friends are this way.

  10. Not in ghetto the hood and or barrios, slums, war torn no go zones. Even Rez got passed over from electrical grid. Lucky for me I'm ten years old stuck in 43 year olds body

  11. I Know plenty people live in sheds, camper shells. Broken down box vans. Al you really need is side hill body cares about dig till your hearts content. Build door call it day. I met 3 guys in Vegas shared cave.

  12. I am watching every video waiting for you to say your wife brought your son back. It is hurting me worrying about it. I should just let it go. Anyway, I hope you'll be ok.

  13. the beach is boring, i want to put 100% focus into my hobbies and interests including personal health without having to focus on how to financially support myself most of the day. I want to fund my interests and have basic things like a DECENT car, insurance, money for house renevations that will improve the value, money for business ideas, money to buy things when i need it like a tank of propane and not have to even think about the price.
